TM Fieldhouse

Located in Lee's Summit, TM Fieldhouse was designed as a premier indoor sports and recreation destination serving athletes, families, leagues, and tournaments from across the Kansas City metro. Collins | Webb Architecture partnered on the development of this 52,000-square-foot multi-sport facility, creating a bold, high-energy environment that reflects the competitive spirit and community focus of the programs housed within. The building’s striking exterior combines vibrant red metal panel systems, dark modern materials, expansive glazing, and inviting outdoor gathering areas to establish a recognizable identity and strong street presence along the corridor.

The facility was planned to support a wide variety of year-round athletic and recreational uses, including basketball, volleyball, pickleball, baseball, softball, turf training, and golf simulation experiences. TM Fieldhouse features multi-sport courts, a regulation-sized baseball and softball infield with training tunnels, indoor pickleball courts, volleyball configurations, golf simulator amenities, and flexible training spaces designed to accommodate athletes of all ages and skill levels. Additionally, the facility includes a full concession/kitchen for the long days of tournaments and training along with a mezzanine overlooking the basketball floors. With indoor and outdoor seating areas, this facility has the perfect blend of spaces for the serious athlete or the recreational sports participant.

A major design priority for the project was balancing the scale and functionality of a high-performance sports facility with a welcoming, community-oriented atmosphere. Durable materials, flexible interior volumes, and activated public-facing spaces were incorporated to support tournaments, leagues, private training, and everyday recreational use while allowing the facility to operate as a regional destination for sports and entertainment. The result is a dynamic recreational facility that contributes to the continued growth of youth athletics, wellness, and community engagement within the region.
